Structural Integrity Assessment

By the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills:

• We specialize in preventing technical hazards arising from defects in the application of legislative and regulatory texts, Moroccan and European certified standards, technical specifications (DTU), calculation rules (DTU), Technical Assessments (Technical Notices), and ATEX regulations that could compromise the solidity of structures and elements under inspection.
• Our mission focuses solely on addressing these technical hazards, excluding seismic protection and other aspects covered by separate sections in our general conditions. Please note that prevention of disorders affecting the integrity of existing or adjacent structures is not included in our scope.

Scope of Building Control

Our technical inspections cover the following structures and equipment elements, provided they are part of the construction projects entrusted to our expertise:

• Foundation structures ensuring the proper transmission of new loads to the ground.
• Load-bearing frame structures designed to receive and transfer various types of loads to the foundations.
• Building envelope structures offering at least partial protection against external natural elements.
• Essential equipment elements closely associated with the aforementioned structures in buildings.

Design Phase:

During the project's design phase:

• We thoroughly examine the technical provisions of the plans and other relevant documents related to the structures subject to control and intended for contractor consultation.
• Upon completing this initial phase, we provide the project owner with a summarized report outlining our opinions on the reviewed documents.

Execution Phase:

• We scrutinize the plans and technical execution documents pertaining to the structures subject to control, which are shared with us.
• On-site visits for inspections during construction:
  • Focus on reception of structures and reinforcement of load-bearing elements.
  • Examination of foundation excavations.
• Expert advice sought before finalizing acceptance reports.
